Great food, great conveniet location, small portions.
I live around the neighborhood. The food is excellent, but the portions are so small. I thought i would write a comment because maybe they can stay in business if they get their act together. How much can a little extra rice cost, or bigger soup portions. We paid 14.00 for each dinner dish and I was still hungry. I keep going back to see if they get their act together. But I don't think they will. I see less and less customers each time and I am now driving an extra five minutes for a bigger portion where I can have leftovers.

Seriously worth trying it yourself.
I consider myself a foodie and have always had excellent experiences at Thai84. I frequent at least once a month and have never been disappointed. Portions per value are spot on and generous; quality on par with the best Thai places in the area. Don't be fooled, give it a try yourself.

Overpriced and not very good
Got a carry out for dinner last night. The coconut soup was very good but the pad Thai (nearly $12) was the smallest portion of food I've ever gotten from a Thai restaurant and it had absolutely no flavor. None. No spice, no salt, no nothing. It was a tray of slimy noodles with absolutely no taste. Ended up throwing it away. Not only that, the person who helped me was very rude - almost like I was bothering her! Will never go back there - plenty of other great Thai take out places in the area.

The rumors are right on!
Rumored as a hidden gem, a small place in a small strip mall with not much in it, you might miss it unless you live near by or someone told you about it. A hidden gem is right! If you're by state road 84 for an errand it is awesome food and quick service, a great fast lunch that is better than fast food. Peanut sauce is light and delicious, chicken with basil is excellent. Just be wary of their hours, they are closed in the middle of the day
