Four of us were seated. We got the bums rush as soon as we sat down. We ordered from the left and food was delivered on the right. Prime rib was warm at best. Good cut of meat but I've had better at 2/3 the price. We eat out a lot and I've never ever been rushed through a meal like I was here. Very disappointed. Left feeling abused. It's a chain restaurant where table turns are king, rather than customer satsfaction. Want meat for dinner and a good time with friends, go to a fast food place rather than here.

We went there for the first time on our 17th Anniversery back in August 2011. It was pouring rain outside and the valet person held out the umberella to keep both my wife and myself dry while he got drenched. We weren't dressed for the occasion since we were already out and about so we decided to stop in. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the Hostess who was kind, courteous, and escorted us to our table. We were slightly damp from the weather and asked our waitor if he could lower the A/C because we were starting to freeze and he kindly did so. We told him it was our Anniversery and he made some suggestions for our appetizer and steaks. Our waiter was great when he arrived with the appettizer he realized that we didn't eat with salt and he apologized, kindly took back our appetizer, and brought us a replacement. My wife had the Filet Mignon and I had the New York Strip Steak, both without any type of seasoning medium rare. The two of us were in heaven, both of the meat were so juicy, tender because of the ageing process you practically didn't need a knife to cut it. They were cooked to perfection. And the Spinach side dish was excellent. The owner kindly came over to our table to welcome, congratulate, and gave us dessert on the house. Yes, the cut of meat is a little bit more than your average steakhouse but its well worth it because of the prime cut and the aging process. The side dishes are Ala Carte and well worth every penny spent. We definitly would go back there again. The Owner, waiter, hostess, and even the valet person, made this a memoral moment for us to remember.

Not impressed. We went there and the service was lousy-particuarly for a place so expensive. When I say expensive I mean prepare for at least $100 for two, and at these prices one would expect five star service. I honestly got better service at a chain for a third of the price. The waitress was kind of ditzy, never checked on our meals, and I sat twenty minutes with no water. The steaks start at $40 per steak, and that is ala carte, sides are about another ten dollars each. While the steak was good, I could've gone to Ruth's Chris and had a steak for less, had a better salad, bigger portions, a more refined atmosphere and most importantly good service for the super, expensive meal! I would only recommend this place to someone who likes to spend a lot of money and receive lousy service in return, for everyone else this is one good meal to skip!

I have eaten here mutiple times and never been disappointed. The service is fabulous, food extraordinary,especially the bone-in filet and beef wellington. Sides are enough for four and the BEST Limoncello martini I have ever had!!! Love the way Martinis are served in a flask with ice bath to keep it cold and not watered down. Other steak houses in Boca better beware!

It was our first visit to Abe and Louie's and it was very satisfying. We had read the reviews and so I was prepared to drop $300 for the two of us. We've been to Morton's, NY Prime, Ruth's Chris and Lobster Chop House in Boca. There's no question the Abe and Louie's is right up there with them. In my estimation, they are all good and depending on the night any one could come out on top. But back to Abe and Louie's. First, the food: We didn't hold back and just ordered what we wanted. We started by ordering cocktails and sharing a shrimp cocktail. It was superb and I, personally, really enjoyed the little dish of horseradish they provided next to the cocktail sauce. My wife initially chastised me for adding the horseradish, but was soon doing it too! My wife liked her glass of wine enough that we ordered a bottle for dinner. We asked if we could then share the chop salad, changing the dressing. No problem. It was delicious too! We both opted for steaks and took the advice of a previous review and added the cheddar cheese. That was really, really good! We recommend that. Added to the entree was a baked sweet potato and the spinach with mushrooms and garlic! Both were great sides. The sweet potato came with a small side of brown sugar...another nice touch. After consuming only half of our steaks, we decided to sample the Key Lime pie. Good choice! I am a fan of key lime pie and this was as good as any. Now the service: We were well-greeted upon arrival and seated right away (we had reservations). The waiter was very pleasant and one thing I thought was really commendable on his part. He was there ready to serve us quickly, but when it became obvious that we were in no hurry, he backed off and never pushed us the rest of the night. I'm no big spender, but I felt very welcome there. The atmosphere inside is that nice dark wood and leather seating so common in good steakhouses. I took off a couple of points because we were seated at a very small table. We are only a couple but at each delivery of our table we were constantly rearranging things to make room for it. I don't expect that at a really good restaurant. Those dining with larger parties didn't have that problem. So after all the drinking, eating and a bottle of wine, we must have exceeded our budget? Nope, $210 before tip. So still expensive, but within expectations. Would I go back? You bet I would! There is a lot of the menu to explore and it ranks up there with my best eating experiences. The atmosphere is fine, the service is friendly and proper, but the food is average steakhouse. Yes, the steak and lobster were fine, but we were rushed in and out within 1 hour with appetizers, entree and wine pushed at an extremely fast rate. Then the check was dropped unrequested for $500+ for 4 people! I don't mind paying $$$$ for an excellent meal in the proper circumstance, but this location does not warrant the hype nor price. I am not going back.

We have dined at Abe and Lousies for lunch and dinner and always a wonderful experience. In addition to the Great Steaks ..Love the Ribeye and nY but you need to check out their great oysters ...always a great selection..also check out the Baked Stuff Lobster with your steak..Great Wine list also .. Of course with any top Steak House its not for the budget concious..but have even stopped in for just desert and coffee..decadent..
