A'dam Good Bar & Grill'd Cheese

Visited three times. First time was great and couldn't wait to go back. Second time was pretty disappointing, including mistakes on our order (wrong type of cheese on grilled cheese sandwich -house specialty). Third time was the poorest -and last. Ordered grilled cheese and tomato -no tomato. Was first offered tomato on the side to put on myself (!), then the same sandwich was brought back with cold tomato thrown on it. Finally it was made correctly, but the homemade potato chips were so unappetizing that we switched them out for fries. Ordered wings with blue cheese dressing, got ranch. Not a complicated order but they could not get it right for the second visit in a row. When we informed the manager of the problems and that we probably would not come back, he shrugged his shoulders and said "Oh, well". That sums up the problem .

I stopped in for dinner with a friend tonight at 9:00. There were about 20 people (including staff) in the restaurant. It took over 5 minutes for someone to come to our table and tell us that someone would be right with us. We then watched across the room as two waitresses fought over who would take our table, and not in a good way. It took over 20 minutes just to get our appetizer. When dinner finally came, the burger was piled with so much "junk" that I couldn't taste the meat. After I deconstructed the burger, I realized why I couldn't taste the meat; it was unseasoned and tasteless. To sum it all up, service was so poor we felt like we were an inconvenience, staff milled around and did nothing while we sat and waited to service, food took forever and was tasteless. I will not go back for anything.

Went there for the first time over the weekend and it was not what i expected at all. Huge portions, delicious food and you can't beat the price. Will definitely be returning. (if you go, try the sweet potato appetizer..amazing!)
