Eva's Gotcha Day
We went there to celebrate the third anniversary of Eva's adoption from Guatemala. Based on the lack of reviews, we were hesitant at first. In some reviews we saw the word "cafeteria" and "buffet"...not exactly what we were looking for. We walked in the side door which took us in front of a diner bar. At first it appeared this was the extent of the "cafeteria", but once we got to the end of the bar, a wonderful authentic Guatemalan restaurant opened up in front of us. Our server was polite and attentive. The appetizers (papusa, tamale, enchilada) were good, expescially the papusa with beans and cheese). For entrees we shared the house special (carne asada with egg on top), churascos, and grilled chicken fajitas. We all ate until we were full and had enough leftover for our gracious host (cousin Kay) to eat after we head back to Orlando. For dessert, you can't miss the Tres Leches - it was wonderful! My little Guatemalan princess wanted to lick the bowl, actually, she did.
