Hot dog heaven
Have been going to Arbetter's for over 30 years. It's acquired my loyalty because it remains true to what the the founder, Bob Arbetter, created - a place to have a good dog with a variety of toppings, fries, a drink in a friendly atmosphere. As the previous reviewer so aptly noted, it's a no frills bare-bones place - as it should be. We are talking about hot dogs not rack of lamb. The chili dogs are the best, love the steamed buns, fries are good and plentiful. Dogs are discounted after 6 pm. but the place closes rather early (8:30 to 9:00 pm). Only real criticism is that the younger employees seem to have a run of the place in the evening which causes the quality of food and service to suffer. I was glad to see the owner and another experienced adult on duty during my last evening visit. Things were back up to snuff. Worth the trip from South Dade!

Best hot dogs ever
No frills. No pretense. No hipsters These melt in your mouth. They are the best I've ever had in my life. It's as barebones as it gets - which is as it should be. ...And they have beer!
