Arturo's Ristorante

We were looking forward to a nice meal at an upscale restaurant. Arturo's is a very pretty place. The wait staff are well dressed and courteous. In other words, the initial impression is a very positive one. A bread basket was placed on our table with butter and a small dish of pesto...the pesto was delicious. The bread, however, tasted like a poorly made in-house product. We started off with an appetizer of fried calimari and small shrimp, which were o.k., but came with an overly spicy, unappetizing marinara sauce. I ordered the mixed grilled seafood plate, which came with a small bowl of their marinara sauce, which is runny and tastes something like loose ketchup. The worst part of this plate was, that every piece of seafood was totally overcook...DRIED OUT! To add insult to injury, as we left, the host and the hostess barely turned around to say goodnight, and, of course, nobody was interested in asking whether we enjoyed our meal We will never go back.

Outstanding food, service and decor with frequent evenings of live music. Worth repeated visits. Good value, valet parking and great happy atmosphere
