Veal Cheeks
My husband had his 73rd Birthday yesterday. We were told to try this restaurant by a native of France who now lives in Aventura. We were greeted and seated and quite promptly engaged by a wonderful young man who would be our waiter. He talked my husband into trying the Veal Cheeks by saying that if he did not like it, the waiter would pay for his dinner. Amused and intrigued, my husband ordered it. It was very rich and delicious. It was served in a casserole with carrots and other vegetables. I had osso bucco which was tender and tasty. After dinner were served two tiny pink meringue cochon...very nice touch. A lovely evening with great service and setting.
