It has seen better times
Ayesteran was a terrific Cuban restaurant 25-30 years ago. Had best Cuban sandwich. Inexpensive. Lately it is rundown, sandwiches not at customer eyesight (el lunchero). Strong smell of cleaning agents in bathroom that permeates dining area. Plenty of parking in the back though. Can still get acceptable cuban meal for little money.
