Happy place/great food
When I think of Backstreets, the TV sitcom Cheers always comes to mind. It is just a place I go on the weekend where everyone really does know your name. Food is great, new owner has done terrific job, adding a little music etc. Love it!

Great restaurant
My wife and I have been going to this place for years. Never a disappointing meal! Food is great, drinks are great, service is great!

What a restaurant shoud be and is
Every so often i have dinner at Backstreets and often reflect what it is about the restaurant that keeps me coming back. The answer is simple-tasty, sensible portions prepared with that certain flair that you find at a high end dining experience. The food is extremely well prepared for a "grille" and well more than just a good experience. Backstreet's is a friendly bar and grill-sans the white linen decor one would expect from the quality of the food. Nothing fancy by appearance, as the atmosphere is casual and dress thus comfortable. The owner has remained in business for over 20 years and has developed a model that works. Part of the key to success is that he has employed an excellent chef that has been part of the equasion for many years. The price is moderate, atmosphere is comfortable, service is excellent. Portions a just right...you don't leave feeling stuffed, but very well satisfied.

Best neighborhood bar around
They make the best stuffed mushrooms! The best burgers! The BEST chicken tenders you'll find anywhere! They make a marinated portebello mushroom with mozzarella and balsamic vinegar that is delish. The menu is diverse and very affordable. I love this place, BUT! Because it is a local watering hole for the local retirees, you can never get a seat at the rather large bar. I haven't had a bad menu item at this establishment. It's all good...
