Tourist glad to have found locals spot!
My girlfriend and I came into Belle and Maxwell's just to check out the lunch menu and see what the place was like after shopping at antique shops across the street. I decided to return later that night for dinner and it was a wonderful, diverse, and creatively decorative resturant and menu. We had the mussel appetizer and white cheese and arugula flatbread with prosciutto to start. For dinner, we had the asparagus and zuchinni risotto with lump crab meat and the chicken marsala. It was all fresh and made to order! If you are looking for a unique and laid back environment with great decor I would definitely recommend! This seemed like a hidden local spot, but is somewhere everyone should experience. It definitely beat the typical chains in City Place and Clematis

Little gem on Antique Row!
My boyfriend and I are from Miami. We were referred to this place by two Antique stores we went into. We love restaurants with good food and lots of charm. This place definitely delivered on both. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with tomato, mozzarella, and avocado with the orzo salad. It was delicious. When you go make sure you grab a slice of key lime pound came for dessert.

Disappointed
our first time at b&m.. nobody to greet us at the door when we arrived and waited a few minutes before being acknowledged.. metal seating very uncomfortable. waiter could not recite the names of the 5 beers offered.asked for the advertised split pea soup of the day and was told it was not available that day! had gazpacho which was very bland. with very few entrees on menu; they should all be outstanding..half way through the meal we were served dry toasted bread, no butter or evoo? mediocre pasta entree, mediocre burger, 1 beer= $47 ...

Great Place
This place is wonderful, the food is great, staff is always very friendly. I have tried many things on the menu and enjoyed them all. It is very hard to choose a favorite. Although the chiken curry salad seems to be one that I order often. The soups are always great . The desserts are as well. A great place to enjoy with freinds!
