Berries in the Grove

They have a really good chicken caesar salad... I know a chicken caesar salad isn't exactly the most difficult thing to make but you would be surprised just how hard it is to find a good one... This place has it! Crisp lettuce, crunchy croutons, parm, and lots of juicy chicken! Plain, simple, and done properly!

I was looking for a casual place to dine at so I stumbled unto Berries in the Grove. I checked out their website and it seemed to be a great place with great prices. When I got there, the hostess asked whether I should sit inside or outside. I decided to sit outside, regardless of the fact that it just rained. It turns out that the restaurant had a retractable roof installed not too long ago! So I was able to enjoy the outdoor setting without getting wet. The outside keeps such a natural feeling (the trees add a wonderful touch) and some beautiful glowing globes hanging from the trees are the perfect accessories. So I sat down, and I ordered a pizza and although they didn't have the pizza I wanted, I did order a pizza. I was overwhelmed with the smell coming out of their wood oven. The pizza was delicious, but I was still left wondering what that Salmon, Brie, Parmesan, mozzarella, capers, and tomatoes pizza would have tasted like. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot to tell the chef to make it exactly like I asked above, but instead of salmon (what they didn't have) I asked for prosciutto. Everything was there except for the brie. The pizza was still delicious, but it was a bummer that it did not have the brie. That's why I didn't give service the full five. The drinks were good and since it was happy hour, we got good prices. I'm going to back to get that pizza.
