Ate at this restaurant for the first time tonight and I have to say that it was pretty disappointing. I've eaten in many German restaurants, mostly in New York, so I think I know what good German food is and Biergarten's food cannot compare. The brautwurst was unappetizing and the sauerbraten almost as bad. The is pretty and kind of gimmicky but the food is of really poor quality. I wouldn't eat there for free!

The German food here is as good as any I've had, even in Germany. The Sauerbraten is the best I've ever had. Good selection of beers and full bar.

We had to ask for silverware to eat our meals. When we were finished I was asked if I wanted my change, I said YES and the waiter in the lederhosen never came back with my change. He returned with the credit card receipts to be signed and never gave my change another thought. He kept $6 of change I had asked to be returned. The tip should be my choice to leave and the amount is my choice not the waiters. I had to return to work with out my change after waiting 20 minutes for it.

They claim to be German with a laundry list of Beers, most of which they are out of but don't erase from the Beer Board. The service is very slow and the food leaves much to be desired. Only good thing about this place is the outside seating.
