More like grease pit not French cuisine

One of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had. I ordered the Peppercorn Steak and there was a wide ring of grease all around the sauce, but I decided to not say anything. The server was courteous, but the music was too loud for a dim-light dinner.

french food for french food lovers

I was first taken to this GREAT french restaurant by the French consul about 18 month ago. The food is great the sauces are incredible. My favorite is the foie gras. The contrast between the sauce and the foie is exceptional. This is most likely one of the best french restaurants in town for french loving food fans that know food.

    Too much sauce

The foie gras had a great amount of very overpowering heavy sauce. Almost could not find it. The same with the swetetbreads. Lots of heavy sauce. What a shame. A great potential but the chef obviously likes strong overpowering sauces which destroy the flavor of the dish. Was hoping to find real french restaurant, but having been to dozens of them, this is really not one.
