Blue Moon Fish Co
Posted by Joseph A. Terc on 01/11/2015
I come to south florida two to three times per year and always eat at blue moon. You cannot beat the atmosphere, the food and the service. Yes it is expensive but it is worth it. Their fish is outstanding. I've also had the sunday brunch. It is also outstanding and not your typical approach to brunch. If you skip it, you are missing something special!

we had a greek salad with chicken for lunch.. no drinks and the bill came to $44( which incl tip) .. too expensive for lunch.. They used to have lunch specials but no more. That is the price you pay. The waiter wasnt very attentive and I didnt feel it was worth coming back again.. Maybe if i was a tourist for a one time view of the intracoatal.. but Im a local and there are many other places that are better where you get more food. and a little cheaper.. I mean come on $20 for a salad? Not for me..

Informal restaurant, beautiful view of Sunset. Excellent food- their chef is well versed in his art! Grouper was inspired, and resotto and fish both cooked to perfection. Steak and Rack of lamb all are memorable- again, prepared with an expert hand. Staff friendly- but spred thin. The food is the star here!

The food was good not great. The waiter was inattentive. I could think of many other places to eat.

Everything you could want for a special nite out. Sit and look out over the intercoastal and be waited on by people who care, and enjoy great food. Be advised that like most things in life you pay for what you get.

This restaurant sits on the intercoastal water way and caters to the upper crust diners who know what they expect from a restaurant in all facets. The food is amazing, service is professionally friendly and quick, ambiance is romatic and price is well deserved. Don't skip the firecracker oysters or baked brie appetizers and the Chilean Seabass is out of this world. Make sure you tell your waiter ahead of time if you want the souffle as its a "true" souffle and takes about 25 mins to make. I, however, will fly over 1200 miles just for the warm chocolate tart for dessert...best I've ever had (and I live in NYC)! Oh, and I forgot to mention.... its 2 for 1 for lunch everday. Make sure to make reservations, its a popular restaurant among the locals and you can wait for a while. Enjoy!
