Bonefish Mac's

Ordered out from here. Ordered the salmon blt and the seafood reuben. Both were well cooked although the salmon was a little dry. But overall no extra flavor.

Our Server though pleasant really had no clue about the menu or could recommended any choices. We started out with 4 stale out of a plastic bag cold rolls with butter. We asked and 5 minutes later had butter but no rolls.I asked our Server what the fresh catch of the day was and we were informed that it was Mahi or Grouper. Since I love Grouper, I thought ordering would be easy. I ordered a Sunken Treasure Trio. A platter of seafood delights - grilled fresh catch fillet paired with a boat of shrimp and sea scallops sautéed in our garlic butter sauce over rice. Since it included the fresh catch, I asked for Grouper and was told the Grouper even though was a Fresh Catch, was not an included Fresh Catch. So when is a Fresh Catch not a Fresh Catch? I asked our Server who said it was going to be $3.00 more for what should have been a choice to check again and she came back and said it was only one dollar more. Mahi was the number one fish on the menu and I can only gather that they had a ton of it and they needed to get rid of it. OK, sounds good, its just a buck for something that should have been included but since I was with my wife and another couple, I did not want to have to call over the manager and have an issue. Anyway to finish this, the Server brought my meal and honestly I should have just sent it back. The amount of Grouper was about 4 bites and inedible. I left it on the plate My wife and I were avid fisherman and caught and cooked fresh Grouper many times over the years. This was not fresh Grouper. I had also asked for it grilled and it tasted blackened. The Shrimp and Scallops on Rice were swimming in the butter sauce, and the rice was crunchy. I also ordered two sides, Red Mashed Potatoes which looked pre packed but was pretty good and an order of Fries which was half the size of one of the other people who orderd the same thing. But that was ok with since they were old and hard. The only reason I did not send this back and ate what I could was the fact that I am diabetic and I had already taken my insulin. Last but not least, the server never came around to ask how we were doing or to ask about re-filling our drinks. So in conclusion, poor service, unappetizing food, expensive drinks just about equals, go have dinner somewhere else.

Cool place..must have spent a lot of money to build..nothing cheap..food was great..fresh fish sandwich..waitress friendly...good looking also..was very happy with my experience... Good luck to those folks. I'll be back for sure!
