My husband and I had breakfast at this place this morning. It was the most unappetizing breakfast I had ever had in my life. I ordered the spinach omelet with a cup of coffee. The omelete tasted like rubber, it looked and tasted old. It looked like they made it earlier and then heated up in the microwave. The coffee tasted like it was made 3 hours before and also it had a very strange taste, we are still trying to figure it out.

I should have read the sign a little closer. I assumed that Brothers of Brooklyn was Brooklyn, NY. After having their corned beef sandwhich and coleslaw, they must be from Brooklyn, Ohio. No New Yorker would ever attempt to pass off some cheap processed prepack corned beef as a Brooklyn product and they would know that coleslaw is not a liquid. Make sure to ask for a spoon or straw if decide to try it. The burgers were ok, but there was nothing deluxe about the fries.

I have lived in south florida since 1987 and started going to brothers of Brooklyn to have breakfast back in 1992. I have been a customer of theirs since then. I moved from the miami lakes area to pembroke pines in 1996 and still went back to have breakfast at the miami lakes deli. They opened a store in Cooper city as well and went their for many years. They briefly opened one in pembroke pines and they closed about 2 years after that. I presently go to another one they had in Davie for many years and then they sold it. To give everyone an idea of how good and reasobable their meals are that they still use their homefries recipe at the other stores. I would highly reccommend this terrific place for those who want to have a great tasting breakfast at a reasonable price.

Brothers has been around for a long time and that certainly tells you something. Nothing fancy, no trendy stuff, just good food at a good price. Pea soup to die for. Loaded sandwiches and great omlettes. And they prove that it doesn't take an "einstein" to make perfect bagels either! Take a baker's dozen, with some veggie and nova cream cheese to work sometime and see if they don't all love you!
