Good food, good service, entertaining
I have eaten at a number of Buca's around the US and they are all set up the same. The walk through the kitchen and kitchen table is in all their restaurants. We like the variety of the menu, and the family style allows us to order 4-5 dishes to be shared, since all portions are large. The food is good, not quite like when we are in Italy, but still very good. We have always enjoyed eating at Buca. Love the Gnocchi with Vodka and the eggplant parmigiana, the salmon is superb. When we take the family out they always choose Buca, young and old, as they view it as a fun evening with great food for everyone.

Absolutely the worst
I had heard the name Buco so many times and decided to try it. The restaurant is dingy looking. The young woman who met us at the door decided to give us a tour thru the kitchen and point out that some people enjoy eating at the 'special table' in there. Special it would have been in a decent restaurant but not this place as you were literally on top of the cooks. Besides the fact that we practically slid across the floor in there due to the layer of oil/grease on the floor. The service leaves much to be desired. We had lunch at about 230 in the afternoon. There were only 3 other tables with customers and it took forever to get any type of food and even then it was inedible.
