I am truly enjoying this newer concept from the owners of the former POR FIN in CG. My favorite seating is at the kitchen counter; there I get to know about the different tapas as they are being prepare. The interactive experience with the chef line is very educational & fun. The servers are very attentive, perhaps a bit much as you might feel pressured to make your selections quickly; that is when being politely firm comes in handy. My only suggestion for improvements is to have chairs that swivel , for a more comfortable dining experience , as well as a bit more space in between the tapa tables for two , at the entrance of the venue. A stronger recommendation to consider might be a more relaxed welcoming team at the entrance, including less staff., and clearer designation of roles within the welcoming team. The motivation( truly gracious) is appreciated , but it might be a bit overwhelming . All in all the experience is great and the food even better. BULLA is a truly welcome culinary experience for Miami. As the restaurant matures & the staff longevity increases, it might be a good idea to monitor frequent customers , in order to welcome them in a truly personalized manner for a truly welcoming social & culinary experience. One final note, try to go during during the weekdays for lunch. They offer an incredible lunch alternatives to the dinner menu ( i.e Migas, etc ) . I have a feeling that BULLA will become a keeper. For my taste buds, I truly hope so. I am going there this pm, with friends & family -again! My wife tells me that in my other life I probably was a restaurant reviewer.
