Not recommended
If you decide to go, stay clear of the "all you can eat" taco special. They give you two measly taco's with almost no meat to start with no sides that would potentially hold you over until you get your next round of 2 taco's 1/2 hour later! If they would have at least given us 4 and a side, I probably would have been done.

Absentee wait staff
Beware when you are in a rush to go back to work or to the movie.... the service moves at the rate of a tortoise in the baking sun. Much better heading over to a fast food outlet. Same food-lower price-faster service.

Consistency issues
We have been going here a few years. It's a like a box of candies, that said, you never know what you'll get. Service is always slow. The food has good and disappointing days, however lately it seems that the kitchen is running out of steam. Specials are always the same or repeated. Bartenders are arrogant and partial to regulars or big tippers. Karaoke night gives me a headache and the angry looking bouncers on weekends make me uncomfortable. The margaritas are great ..

The best Mex joint around
It is rare to find a place you take your kids to in the day or have a business lunch meeting in the day and then hit an always fun happy hour or late night. The margaritas here are awesome...check out the caborita where they stick a beer into a margarita. The food is awesome. I like Mex restaurants that don't try to get too cute with burritos, tacos, enchiladas, guacamole, etc. The staples here are AMAZING and I can rely on the kitchen to always put out great food. I even love their Cabo Cobb Salad. I have had one signature dish with Mahi in it. Really good. I just like the "standard " Mex food so much I eat that. How good is this place..I just read they are opening another one in early 2013 in Delray Beach..closer to my house...YEAH! Go To Cabo!

Over here bartender
Always thought this was a cool place, but service seems to be getting lax. Literally need to hold a flag to get attention, especially the bar. Burritos were always delicious, yet seems to be more rice in them now. Chips are a little too greasy for my taste. Karoke night is draining with all the bad singers. Bar drinks are very good. Love the taco combo.

Tequilla heaven
I love the margaritas here, but cant say the same about the service and food. The server was very slow and seemed uninterested, while the bus boys seemed to be happy to help out. the tacos were dry and cold, while the soup of the day tasted like something out of a package. the skirt steak was tough, yet the waiter didnt seemed to grasp I was not thrilled with my steak. The mango margarita was great, as well the classic one. Will be return for drinks.

Friendliest service
Every time I go to Cabo flats, which is not often enough, everyone there is always so nice. They greet you with a smile when you walk in and are always very accommodating, even when I want to bring my puppy they always allow me to have him out on their patio. Last time I was there the manager brought him out a bowl of water and a milk bone. I was completely taken back, because most of the time when a manger comes outside to me at a table when I have my dog with me, it's usually to tell me that I can't have him there. Not Cabo! They welcome everyone with open arms!!! It helps that they have great margaritas too :)
