    Cannot do the basics

I have passed by many times and finally tried it...bad idea. I kept it simple, so I can try their sauce. I ordered the fried calamari appetizer and the spaghetti & meatballs. Ok, simple enough that NON-Italians can figure this out. The calamari was ok, although, when I asked the waiter for cheese and hot pepper, it never showed up. Second, the pasta...I could not taste the sauce because of all the water in the bottom of my bowl. Drain the water! And still, no cheese, hot pepper, or any type of bread. The busboy helped me on these, and was thanked with a generous tip. The waiter, the older gentleman, was too busy playing bar tricks with the bartender and customers to care, but was there to accept a tip! I do not suggest this place at all.

Dissapointing-Not What It Used To Be

My family & I were regular customers here for several years but we will NOT BE BACK. We were disappointed too many times at the restaurant and even with takeout. They 'brought back' pizza probably hoping to recapture business they lost when they became too "fancy" to make pizza, but their pizza is lousy. Definitely not made with the same quality of ingredients they used to use in their pizza. This place has gone downhill in quality of the food, apathy of management & cleanliness. If the restrooms are yucky, how clean is the kitchen?! They're cutting too many corners~Eat here at your own risk!

    Delightful experience!

From start to finish, to the busboys, all were attentive. The service was terrific and the food was great. We look forward to many return visits!

    Delish!

Arrived here about 3 pm and seated 3 diners. Hubby had shrimp parm, as I did. (choose your own sauce and type of pasta) and friend had ravioli. Our salad was very fresh and delish, as was our bread with olive dipping oil. Hubby had soup and loved it! We were very satisfied with our meal and to top it off, the tiramisu was one of the best we had ever tasted. Sunday afternoon "gravy" was not a disappointment. It was fabulous! Prices are very good too! :)

    Not recommended

WOW major downhill is all I can say. I used to go to this place when I was single and I would have to walk past the people eating to get to the bar (which is where I would order and eat my dinner) The bartender was always nice. I always got the half order which still consisted of 2 pieces of chicken cutlet (I usually got the Portabello or something else I cant remember) I went there 2-3 times a week. Once I asked why they never had a chicken rollatini with a cheese and maybe spinach or prosciutto (which are items they had anyway) they said they would make it for me next time just call ahead. I got there I had dinner and I got my bill and it was $6.00 more than the most expensive chicken dish they had. When I questioned him on it, he went and talked to owner who simply stated "because it was special" For someone who goes there 3 times a week... Really... so I stopped going. Recently my boyfriend and I wanted someplace local that was not a chain so I figured 'hey lets try them again" I went at 7:30 pm on a friday night in January which is in season here and usually would have a huge wait. We go in, the restaurant is dead. Not even a quarter filled. I asked to sit to the right, which is the bar area they have booths and tables and its not as bright as the restaurant side. The hostess tells me "sorry theres no tables there" I look over I see 3 empty tables and an empty booth (which is all you could even see from there, when I told here I see at least 4 empty tables without even walking in she just looked at me like I had 5 heads. We sit down and the bread is dry and stale tasting. It used to be garlic knots, now its just the knot part. They no longer have the half and family style menu and their prices have went up at least $2.00 on just the 2 that I usually ordered. But I see they had a Chicken Rollatini which I order ($18.97) and my boyfriend orders the Campagnolo ($19.97) which is chicken sausage, peppers and potatoes. Then there is this guy who walks past the table literally every minute. I timed him. Once it was 47 seconds. I asked the waiter about it and was told he was a busboy trying to look busy to keep his hours. I felt bad for him, but at the same time felt harassed almost. OK so the food gets there. My boyfriends place is FULL of food. I have 1 piece of a small chicken cutlet wrapped around some spinach and cheese and 1 very small piece of prosciutto.
