Overpriced, not high quality
Was expecting spectacular fish dishes, given the prices plus the attached fish market. But the reality was quite hit and miss. A lot of the dishes were far too over-powering or overdone for the fish. Service was also very slow.. 15-20 mins to get orders in, well over an hour before the entrees arrived, which came out separately over several minutes with some of the sides cold.

Carryout
My husband was too tired to go out to eat this evening so we ordered out. We were driving through Homestead and were in an RV park. I went on line and checked reviews and menus of local seafood restaurants. The Captain's came up with many positive responses. We were equally pleased with our take out order! Gator bites were delicious as were the Conch fritters...good food at good prices!!

Good casual fresh seafood
Have been 2X and both times the food was fresh and good with very good service. Fish was excellent, pasta was good with the shrimp, scallops were fresh and cooked to perfection, sides were limited but good also (didn't really care for the onion rings though, spicy and cut very very thin). Extensive wine and beer menu, but no hard liquor. Give it a go. Best seafood south of Pinecrest.
