Dingy
Went with 3 other couples on a Sat. nite. One waitress for the entire place (which was half empty). Nothing special. Food was good and fairly priced. One of our friends ordered the snapper special-filets not a whole fish. Took 30 minutes before it came out. Everyone else was almost finished. The place had some lights out in back. Very dingy-no music, no fun.Like sitting in someones basement.Should be featured on the TV show Restaurant impossible! Mediocre experience at best. Other diners heard me mentioning this to the only waitress and they heartily agreed.Too bad. With a makeover this place could be quite good.

Treat yourself to a special meal
I will make this short. Your are greeted at the front door like you are a member of the family. The service is excellent, and last but not least the food is the best , iam sure you will enjoy whatever your order.

Wonderful anniversary dinner
My wife and I had went to Carlo of Boca for our first anniversary last night. We had a fantastic experience. Before we went, we tried to find online reviews, but could only find one. We went to their website and found a link to a Sun-Sentinal article that gave them a raving review. It convinced us to give it a try. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. As soon as we sat, we were given complimentary bruschetta and a basket full of delicious garlic bread. For starters we had their stuffed portobello mushrooms, which were stuffed with cheese, artichokes and eggplant. On top, they had fresh, diced bruschetta style tomatoes. I was surprised by how flavorful they were. For the main course, I had the Vitello Della Casa, which I adored. My wife kept asking for bites of it. The veal was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce was so tasty, I actually put my side dish of garlic spinach into the sauce and let it soak. My wife got the gnocchi with bolognese sauce, which she liked, but I'll let her write her own review. For dessert, we couldn't decide between the tiramisu and cannoli, so we got both. I learned that they make all of the desserts in-house. Both were so good that despite being somewhat full, we managed to finish them. After hearing it was our anniversary, we were given a complimentary shot of the house limoncello. Overall, we felt pampered eating here. The service and food were impeccable. We plan to be regulars.
