The food was unappetizing. Calamari was uncooked and very little, steak hard to eat. My husband's fish not fresh over a mashed potatoes with four tiny pieces of vegetables (overlooked) . We felt we were at really cheap fast food and they took forever to bring food

Not much of a crowd so we were seated quickly but found the noise level of the music somewhat annoying. We ordered and two small, warm but rather stale rolls were brought and then we sat and waited an hour for our food to arrive. No salad or no bread refill to hold us over during this excessive wait time. Dinner was tasty but amounted to a slab of fish laying on top of mashed potatoes. Very drab looking presentation for the rather steep prices they are charging. Unlikely to go back.

Me and my wife decided to give carmines ocean grill another try after they remodeled, i tell you, the place is great, much better than that night club type of restaurant, now looks much nicer than before, i was very suprised of the menu on how many dishes they have besides sushi, you got to try the flat bread, and you have to try the crusted grouper with mango salsa sauce. Will i go back again? absolutely yes

I had purchased a Travelzoo coupon for $100 dollars worth of food. We had a party of 4. They were running couple of summer specials. We ordered 2 summer special as well as many others items on the menu and drinks. The bill came to $162. Upon receiving the bill I was informed that since we ordered the special we were not allowed to use the coupon. Can't believe that the coupon does not apply to any specials. They were rude..... Will never go back!!

Last night my partner and I ventured into Umi for the fourth and last time. It's not that the food is terrible or the service is less than polite, it's just that it's so" so-so" at "Hey, this is swell" prices. The capper was when the bill came I discovered that my Belvedere on the rocks was on the tab twice. Once for the Belvedere.... plus $1. for the rocks! Really? So long, UMI.

Had friends in from out of town & chose Umi. It couldn't have been a more pleasant and delicious evening. The service was very friendly & attentive. The food was fabulous. We all had something different and everything was delicious! Highly recommend this rest. in a beautiful setting, inside & out. Dining outside, the perfect evening.

Bad sign number 1: asked hostess to seat us at the robata grill, she seats us at a regular table. She says the robata is in the kitchen. I'm quite suspicious there is no robata - no odor of burning wood anywhere. Bad sign 2: menu spells sake as Saki, please, maybe I should have ordered bear or whine. Bad sign 3: they didn't know what omakase meant and chefs choice sashimi wouldn't include uni or Toro, well I guess they weren't among the days best. They said they did have both but they needed to be ordered by the piece. Final bad sign: the fist item I asked for on my sashimi platter was uni. They asked me how many pieces, I replied that uni sashimi doesn't come in pieces, that I would like one order. They said yes it does come in pieces. I asked for clarification since asking for pieces of uni sashimi (no they didn't mean lobes or tongues of uni) is like asking for pieces of cream of wheat or pieces of chocolate pudding. They explained that all of their product is pre-aportioned in advance and whether they plop it down on a plate or on a piece of rice, it was the same piece. We got up and walked out at this point.
