From the lack of a noticeable hostess to greet us- to the admittedly over assigned waitress who finally arrived at our indoor table after a lengthy wait alone - Completely everything related to what could have & what should have been a pleasurable experience went hopelessly amiss. Our clearly distracted server then proceeded to greet us by verbally warning us that she was jammed up with tables - including one outside- lovely ?! Oh- & let's not forget to mention the flurry of squabbling buss people that were swarming around the dining room speaking loudly to each other in another language , to the overflowing waste cans in the bathroom, to the "manager" who personally drilled us with questions regarding who exactly it was that cleared my dinner plate & failed to bring me my half eaten entree to go, to the male staff person that my dinner partner was surprised by when he exited the women's bathroom after my dinner partner had been patiently waiting outside the door to be the next in line-- The valet staff were the absolute best service oriented workers out of all the many scurrying & impersonal staff we encountered last night at Casimir- but, alas, they freely admitted that they were not even associated with this restaurant. The food was amazingly good, but the consistently harried & aloof & forgetful staff were the exact opposite. In the end & no matter the quality of the food, we had to ask ourselves why anyone would want to actually pay $50 per person for dinner & one drink each to be clearly disrespected from the very start to the very finish?! We were constantly referred back to the "manager" on staff every time we verbalized any frustration or even quite patiently sought out any help with having our service issues corrected. It was quite apparent by the end of our painfully dragged out evening that the frustratingly poor level of customer service & management started at the very top & trickled down to the very bottom . Don't let the virtual "screen door hit you on the way out" would be a very good description of how we were left feeling. - a lovely night out spoiled by the very people who had every chance to make a positive difference, but instead managed to ruin our entire experience. And then we actually had the honor of paying them to disrespect us before we left --

A real treat for the Francophile that loves authentic french food, music, atmosphere, and a friendly staff. I can't believe someone complained that they were not treated well because they had children with them. More fine dining experiences are destroyed by children than bad food and dirty restrooms. I wish restaurants had "no children" sections like they used to have with smokers. This is a great place! Bon appetite!

This place is an absolute "Diamond in the Rough". My wife and I dine there on a near weekly basis and have never been disappointed. The staff work to make the experience as delightful as the food. Do not pass up an opportunity to try the French Onion Soup as it is truly the best in the area.Highly recommended!
