Catch of the Day

Got stuck at the airport and the cab driver recommended this place. waitress replaced them with the spinach. I got the mahi-mahi in scampi sauce - large portion and heavenly. Even if you don't like wilted spinach, GET the spinach for a side dish!! It is AMAZING - garlic, tomatoes and onions make it taste almost like bruschetta. I got the tostones which were greasy and dry but were happily exchanged. The service was a bit slow, but it was a packed Saturday night, so that's always a given. Great drinks that are enormous. The signature mojito had too much junk in it, but was tasty. Ended up with the best gin & tonic ever. Well worth the time. I only wish I'd got the kind crab legs, too - $16/per lb.

The poorest service ever. We drove 50 miles and I would never come back we didn't even eat we waited around 1 1/2 hour for food that we had to cancel 3 times and they still brought it the manager didn't even do anything.

Just left there half an hour ago. The bill came to $113.09 including 15% gratuity. The three of us ordered a bowl of lobster bisque, half dozen oyster and half dozen of clam from the raw bar, Mahi Fillet (Blackened; with Caesar Salad, Plantain Chips with "Mojo"), Admiral's Scampi Feast (with Caesar Salad and Roasted Potatoes), and Catch's Seafood "Paella". The oysters and clams were fresh though nothing special. The lobster bisque was very good - creamy with bits of lobster. I had lobster bisque at another restaurant four days ago. Believe me, Catch of the Day's is MUCH tastier. Nothing special about the Caesar Salad. The Plantain Chips were crispy and the "Mojo" put a nice touch to them. The Roasted Potatoes were done nicely. The Blackened Mahi Fillet was done perfectly. There was so much seafood in the paella, and so deliciously made. The Admiral Scampi Feast included Grilled Mahi Fillet, Shrimps and Scallops in a Homemade Scampi Sauce. Also deliciously made. Will definitely come back when I visit Miami again.

I was there for 15 mins. no one approached our table... i had to go get someone to help us out. waiters looked at our table and completely ignored us. the food had little flavor. we spent $75 for two people. i was not going to leave a tip since we had no server, but unfortunately the tip was already included. they tried to appease us with coupons, but i will never recommend this place to no one..only good thing is the atmostphere it was pleasant.

I went to this place 4 months a go and that was my first time. The food was not good tasting. The fish was dry and the potatoes never was roasted looks like steam. The service was great, though! Thank God I had a really good waitress. She explained everything clearly. Then I went 2 days a go and the food was ok but the service was slow, it wasn't the same,I hope my next time she'll be there...

Lively atmosphere near the airport. I travel to Miami frequently mostly on business. A business associate took me to lunch there. I could hardly wait to go back. The service is outstanding and super friendly. The food is very good. I usually order blackened salmon, sauteed spinach and sweet plantains. The sweet plantains themselves are worth the trip.

Key Lime Pie is Great. The rest of the food is questionable.
