China Lane Restaurant

I've come to detest Chinese takeout since I left NY 30 yrs ago. Even my return vistis to the Big Apple have fallen short of my childhood memories of glorious Chinese fare. Not easily dissuaded, I powered through decades of mediocre to bad Chinese food experiences hoping to satiate this craving of mine. China Lane has restored my faith in quality takeout of this genre. First they use real meat. The cuts in the stir fry and lo mein are made specially for these dishes and not leftovers and scraps from something else. The food is not overly greasy either. They welcome custom orders like extra beansprouts and "less sodium." They deliver the consistency of a chain with the all-important "love" ingredient only a mom and pop can provide. Do your palate a favor...

I decided to try these guys one day when I was going to order from my regular New Wongs. After I placed my order and of course I was pretty hungry It came in about 15 min and hot and tasted Great I was so happy been going there ever since. Now the place is usually not packed so it's worth going if you want some quiet time with that someone special. I love the mom who works at the register also she is very polite.

Being a local to China Lane I have been going here for years. Something has changed. The Orange Beef is now 50% batter, no orange taste at all, The meat is cubed steak. The Broccoli had brown mushy spots on all the edges. The other plate was supposed to be jumbo shrimp and they were medium and scarce to boot, same treatment on the broccoli. For the 35 bucks I did't get an extra plate either. Never again will I buy here.

China Lane has the best Chinese food in Hollywood, FL. Always fresh and tasty, even when ordered just prior to closing. The staff is very nice and always remember my name when I pick up our order. Best Chinese food this side of New York City.

It was my first time eating there and I got the honey garlic chicken delivered and they left out the sauce. they didn't give me the right type of wonton noodles and when I called they told me they would make it right on my next visit and when I went in they looked at me like I had 10,000,000 eyes and wouldnt correct it because it wasnt in the computer. as i was trying to get help they ignored me. they continued to take calls in front of me and make me wait it was so rude I just walked out. I'll never go back. Chicken was good but with no sauce. fried rice was unappetizing.

I have been ordering regularly from this restaraunt. The past few times I ordered, the pricing has kept going up. They used to give a free dish if you spent $30 then they said if you do not pay cash you cannot have the free dish unless you spend $45. They charged me more then they were supposed to on my last order. They forgot one dish. When I called to ask for it they said I never ordered it. The woman claimed she was a manager said her prices are not her problem on the website it is the old owners fault not hers. She will not give us the dish for free even though we spent more then the amount we needed to and paid cash. She told us she has other calls to answer and hung up on us. Oh and the best part is, the food was cold and unappetizing. I will never order from them again
