Poor service not worth the food.

I have been a customer for over a year with Chung Wah. The most value for your dollar and some of the best Chinese food in the area. However, my opinion of them was greatly changed tonight. The gentleman who took my order did not hear me say 3 meals, so when my delivery got here, the sweet delivery driver only dropped two boxes. He was very nice, showed me where I was only charged for two and encouraged me to call the store, and before he left even said, sorry I will see u later tonight. When I called the store and explained the situation the woman who answered immediately said that I only paid for two. I told her I had no problem paying for a third meal, but I needed it delivered as we were trying to have a family dinner. She then tells me the guy who took my order only heard me say two. I told her I don't care what he heard, I said three and I need the last meal delivered. She then tells me delivery is a minimum $12. The nerve of them to try and have me pay extra for their mistake. Unfortunately we will no longer be giving them any business. I don't care how good the food is, service like that ruins it.

    Always perfection!

I have been a faithful customer of Chung Wah for most of my life. Their food is spot on, always piping hot, and incredibly delicious! I would recommend the shrimp toast, it is wonderful! If it's chicken you want, the Orange and Lemon are both to die. My personal favorite is the Pork Egg Foo Young, served with a brown gravy that is even better the next day. Egg rolls..divine. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend their delivery to anyone!

    What a disappointing experience!

Ordered delivery & after over an hour I called to check on it & they said "still cooking"... Ya I'm sure! I repeated order and gave address for third time. We waited another 45 min & called to cancel order and got yelled at! When food came over 2.5 hrs later of course cold Nothing compared to NYC Chinese!

    Always great!

I've been ordering from them for about 6 months and they have yet to let me down. I'm about 8 miles away and they still deliver within their 45min estimation (usually 20-30 min). Great food and you get a lot for the amount for the dinner.

    Sour beef and old shrimp

Ordered for the first time last night. After reading the reviews thought I would give it a try. Placed my order and picked it up in a timely manner. First thing wrong was I was given egg drop and not wonton soup. Could have let that slide, mistakes happen. Egg rolls were decent. Then I moved to the entrees, I ordered mongolian beef and shrimp with lobster sauce. As soon as I opened the container of mongolian beef, I noticed a sour smell, it was the beef. Threw that away. The shrimp with lobster sauce also went into the trash because it was too runny and the shrimp tasted old. All in all really disappointed after the good reviews that were previously written.

    Best delivery in the area

They're pretty good. Classic American style Chinese food. Not fancy, not gourmet, just plain old neighborhood Chinese delivery. That's all they try to be. Excellent food for watching Kung fu movies.

Best Chinese Take Out in S Florida

Agreed with the last post. It is hard to get decent Chinese in Florida. Chung Wah has always satisifed that craving. First sign, they actually have fluffy brown rice- not that yellow kind others use around here. I have been impressed with every dish ordered. The service is quick & friendly. They always have a free coupons with purchases. I think it is a great value.
