My husband is from Peru and I'm Cuban. Let's just say that we are food connoisseurs. We love Peruvian food and have probably visited 90% of them from Miami to Palm Beach. La Costa Peruana is awesome, great food, great prices, and great atmosphere. My favorite of all times is Lomo al Jugo, con Tacu-Tacu. My husband and I, both feel it's the closest to actually being in Peru. Enjoy!

Cuban by heritage, my wife and I love Peruvian food. We have been to many in South Florida. Hands-down our favorite is Costa Peruana. The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared. There is not much to be said of the place itself, but if great peruvian food is what you're in the mood for, you won't be disappointed!

It was a nice experience overall, the ambiance, the music, the service, the food...... but I was very disappointed with the dessert. I asked for Picarones, and I was served deep fried doughnuts with Aunt Jemima syrup instead, and then I bought a box of bon-bon chocolates filled with pisco and raisins and I even asked the server if it was fresh, because I know from previous experiences that the liquor dried out, and he assure me that it was fresh, when I got home to enjoy my chocolates not even was dry, but it was expired on May 23rd ... a week ago, so hopefully a little bit more attention on this small but important details from their part will help the restaurant to keep their loyal customers.

A friend and I were first timers, ordered what looked good, (fish, naturally) and were delighted at what came before us on the table. If unsure of what to order, check with the owner. He will explain that it is all cooked from scratch, what is in it, how it is cooked, and you will end up with a meal that you will remember when you get back home. A bit difficult to find, but extremely well worth the trip. Quite inexpensive for that kind of quality. ggp
