We will be back!
What a great time! It stared with the bartender, who was not only wonderful (made a delicious watermelon and cucumber martini) but we also witnessed his patience with non-English speaking guests who repeatedly ordered a no ice martini but would not answer gin or vodka. We got to the table where my husband was again wow'ed by Todd English's meatball. We enjoyed the table side pulled cheese (with prosciutto and figs), my shrimp pasta will be hard not to order again and my husband didn't leave any of the risotto of the day. The service all night was excellent, the intimate feel and nice decor are nice to find in Fort Lauderdale. We will be back!

the place is way overrated
went to celebrate my birthday. the mozarella presentation was lame. the mozarella tasted like rubber and deffinitely not worth $16.the scallops were greasy. how can you make scallops greasy? no idea, but these were. the service was very unfriendly. we felt rushed, the waiter was very indifferent and unfriendly. we spent $180 for dinner plus $30 tip. NOT WORTH IT. there are much better italian restaurants for the value.

Best in Ft. Lauderdale
Food quality and preparation is excellent. All the dishes are good, but don't miss tableside mozzarella cheese with fig balsamic and prosciutto, snapper marsala, any of the pizzas, and anything with pomodoro sauce. Wine list limited, but nice Italian champagne by the glass.

Waitresses need more polish
What a noisy place on a Sat night! Well, it's popular alright. We're from New York and usually avoid such noisy places but were staying in the hotel. I think Todd E. should think about a bit more professionalism in his waitresses. Chatty & familiar but not enough serious info about the food. For example, the butternut squash may be delicious for the first 3 minutes but then it's too sweet to eat. Only after did our waitress say "Oh yeah it has crushed amaretto cookies in it". That's something I'd like to know before I order and pay for it. (couldn't eat it all) Also had to reject our table looking into the kitchen but we were seated at a nice table after asking. If you like glitzy, loud and expensive though you'll like the food.

The Best Mozzarella
The restaurant was very lovely, although small but very cozy and romantic. The food is absolutely terrific and the service is wonderful. Dining and overlooking the intracoastal what more could you ask for. This is one of the top 5 in Florida.
