Disappointing experience for the New Year eve. Waited for an hour to get seated. The menu was limited. Just a few items on the list. Very rude service especially for 20% service charge that was included with the bill. They also charged $50 cork fee for 2 bottles they opened for us without telling us about the charge. The New Year eve was completely spoiled.

You will be sorely disappointed to find that "Wood-oven-roasted, milk-fed piglet" is no longer offered on the menu. To add insult to injury, we asked about the piglet (which is listed on their online menu as of this writing), and the waiter pretended to not know what we were talking about or that the dish ever existed. So we sat down and we promptly waited. And waited. And waited. For about 10 minutes employee after employee walked past us into the kitchen. Some looked at us, some did not. It was incredibly nerve wracking waiting for someone to bring us either a menu, water or, god-forbid, bread. I had to get up and go to the bar to ask the bartender for water. The rest of our party arrived and we were served bread and water and our drink orders were taken. the bread was absolutely fabulous. Everyone loved it and loved the olive oil used for dipping. This was perhaps the peak of the evening. After we ordered appetizers, someone asked the waiter for more bread, which never came. Further, they only came to refill our water once the entire evening and it was towards the end of the meal. For the most part the food we ordered was pretty good. Several had the Branzino, which was great. There was an order of the shrimp parm, which was also good. I had the rigatoni, which was a little al dente. The glaring exception was the sole. We had to send it back because it was raw. Then when it came back it seemed like they had put it in the microwave because it was mushy. They did not include it on the check. What they did do, however, was congregate at the bar towards the end of our meal, the chef, the hostess, and several of the staff, and sit and glare at our table and continually talk about the sole (yes we heard them). It was incredibly rude. I have never been part of something like that before. Prior to dessert my mother went to the staff to make sure we were going to have a candle in the dessert we ordered. Out came tiramisu, rum cake and a slice of ricotta pie. No candle. It was insulting. The tiramisu was great, but for a party of 8 the desserts were too small. The rum cake was disappointing. One of our party described it as "hot dog bun." The ricotta pie was nothing to write home about. Because we were a party of 8, gratuity of 18% was to be automatically included on the bill. They added 20%, presumably for their stellar service. It was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

The pizza was excellent. The whole family enjoyed the very fresh tasting ,delicious pizza. lasagna, and chicken parm. The restaraunt is quaint with outside seating available. It is a lovely place for a nice family dinner!!
