Ate here today & food was unappetizing. Told waiter & he couldn' care less. Chicken parmesean was chewy & hard, shrimp francaise had subpar sauce but shrimps were good & cannoli was gritty.

I decided to try Davito's newly started lunch buffet. I figured it would give me a good way to judge if I wanted to bring the family for dinner. No. A restaurant should never start a buffet service just to "get people in here for lunch," as the owner told me over the phone. The buffet was nothing more than a pair of chafing dishes, a salad, and some pizza slices. It was set up on the bar, with little room to maneuver, and no heating lamps or sternos, allowing the food to get cold quickly. My companion started off with a lemonade in a dirty glass and you needed to get your own silverware and napkins. You're either a restaurant with a buffet or a cafeteria; not a little of both. The penne dish was more than al dente; more like partly raw. The eggplant, which I love, was nonexistent. The chicken cacciatore, pardon the reference to a good dish, had tough, bland chicken and a weak, thin sauce. The pizza, which I imagine was supposed to be "New York" pizza, well, don't let any New Yorkers catch you calling it that, was way too thin and left to get cold. And to top it all off, only minutes after arriving, what little was served on the bar was gone, forcing us to wait for around ten minutes before it was finally replenished. So, the question remains, is their long, regular menu cooked better or just full of more disappointment? We won't be giving them the chance to let us find out.

Very disrespectful and wouldn't honor the groupon because i was at a table with people who already used one another time. when i said i would not come back they said that is your choice. Good food, poor and disrespectful customer service.

We treid this restaurant and thought it was ok. It's really a pizza place with Italian dishes but wouldn't consider it a real italian restaurant. Bottom line is that the food was ok but the prices reflected what you would pay at a nicer italian restaurant.

Bolognese sauce over linguini pasta was bland with a complete lack of any taste of spices. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Sat at bar to eat and service was excellent. Probably will go back but will change entree.

Friends told us about this relatively new restaurant and we decided to give it a try. The food was superb and the waitress we had was very helpful. The sauces are light and delicious and the chopped salad was served on a cold plate with crispy lettuce. We are now steadies. If you like a casual, friendly atmosphere with excellent food THIS is it.
We had visited this place once when it was Anna's Kitchen and never went back. Friends told us it was a new place so we decided to try it. Am I glad we did. The food was superb. The sauces are just the right consistency. Our waitress was terrific. The salad was served on a cold plate and the lettuce was so crispy. And they even chopped it for us.We go once a week. If you are looking for great food in a casual and friendly atmosphere THIS is it. We have been back every week.
