This is my first review of a restaurant/deli ever. Normally, I don't have the concern or energy for such things, but I gave this place a couple chances as it is close to my work. Also, I have deli experience having worked in NY and FL deli's for over 5 years in my youth. I started going to this place and it seemed about average, good portions, but a little pricey; 10.55 for a simple ham & cheese, LT, on whole wheat bread, sandwich. The trouble started when I called in an order for an egg sandwich with ham and cheese on toast, and a second regular sandwich of ham and cheese, Lett & tomato on an everything bagel. I recevied the egg sandwich with lettuced and tomato on it (if you have ever even been to a deli, or lived on earth, you know that putting lettuce and tomato on an egg sandwich is unheard of) and another egg sandwich on the bagel. Today I phoned in an order and when I arrived at the deli I still had to wait for my food (place was very slow) and they did not put lettuce on it. I don't know what is going on over there, but the management is non-existent or clueless.

    Food was like back home

I am so glad I found this hidden GEM. It's not easily noticed from the street but i'll never forget it. Initially I thought I was just going in for your basic soup and sandwich shop boy was I suprised!! I was greeted by the friendly staff when I arrived and when I left. The Beef Brisket was just coming out of the kitchen and smelled incredible. I ordered a Cup of Matzoh ball soup and the Brisket platter. I got a large portion with a side of pickle and NY style potato salad not to mention the Aujus and some ryebread for dipping. The last time I had Brisket that good was at home. I am going back to try there signature Red Russian Sandwich. Place got busy during lunch so I am glad I got there a little before everyone else.. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. Gotta go back there today!

Ordered a grilled Red Russian (a rueben with corned beef, pastrami and colesaw). What I got was tasteless toasted bread, 4 small pieces of bland pink gristle slathered with the most unappetizing coleslaw in the history of the world. No kidding, it was like Stevie Wonder was tripping on acid while hacking up the cabbage that was then drowned in watery mayo. With a Coke, got to fork over $14 bucks. Never again.

    Not worth the time

This place has the most tasteless food ever i think it is the low quality meats they use.
