I used to eat at Disalvo's on a weekly basis for over twenty years when I lived in Pembroke Pines and Cooper City. I now live on West Davie and don't get over there that often, maybe once every couple of months. I went there tonight with seven other people. The food was ok, the service was fair at best, the value was poor. The service was extremely slow though they were not really busy. We ordered three meals, one large pizza, one sub, some sides, and a kid's meal. The waitress brought us six garlic rolls midway through our salads. We asked for more rolls twice. Both times it took forever to get there. And we were charged $2.00 for each order of six. Poor move and value. Goodbye Disalvo's, you won't see us again!

New owners have made all the difference. The food is ALWAYS good. Best pizza by far! Chicken parm is the bomb! Cannollis are awesome! You won't be disappointed, no matter what you order....for real. Go...enjoy!

The best penne a'la vodka around and the filetto di pomodoro is one of my favorites here. If you are in the mood for great Italian food, look no further...DiSalvos in Davie has got it down!

Order your pizza well done (New York style). DiSalvo's is one of the fewplaces who knows how to make it charred on the bottom without drying out or burning the toppings. Their pizza is consistently good. It's the best in South Florida. Their food (especially their lazagna is great too. Great food, great service, reasonable price. What more can you ask?
