Dining Room at Little Palm Island

Service is very slow. They seem to have their one server fully address each customer in order such that it took 25 minutes for us (the last) to even get a glass of wine. The rest of lunch proceeded at the same pace with us on the end of the line for everything. The wines by the glass are very good and our meal was very good but it begs the question of what is fine dining. We had a hamburger and a cuban sandwich with fries, we shared very good crab fritters for an appetizer and shared a key lime pie for dessert (very bland despite being their signature dish). While I enjoyed the food mostly, it was not worth the fine dining price of $150+. Note that the gratuity is automatically added. Now I am generally a 25% tipper for great service but felt that their 15% add on was not justified. Rather than being the highlight of our trip, this meal was the low-light and I cannot recommend it to anyone! I was left with an impression of a business that has recieved so many top ratings for so long that they have begun to believe their own press and are no longer extremely introspective about their customer experience and quality.
