Dolores, but you can call me Lolita

Wow!I had the worst and the best experience I have ever had so far when it comes to go to restaurants, I got there around 10 pm on a Friday night I ask for a table 2 hostess standing there talking took them like me 3 min to realize I was standing in front Of them the answer I received after asking for a table for 4 was " sorry the kitchen is a little behind in the food and we are not allow to sit anyone at this time" ridiculous for a restaurant in Brickell area to have such at bad kitchen, well they send me upstairs and I was in shock there were A LOT of empty tables and the kitchen was behind with the food... after 40 min!!!!! Waiting we got to be seated inside and what a GREAT service I received from a lady called Nesly, she welcomed us with a smile , explained the menu with so many details great suggestions even though my steak was supposed to be med and I got it well done she was really fast and handle it very well... you should hired more people like her especially as a hostess, no doubt that if I ever go back to this place I would ask to be seated with the same waitress.

Delores Lolita's was the perfect setting for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner of about 36 people. We reserved the front private dining room and there was more than enough room for the guests to move around the room and socialize with one another. The service was excellent from pre-planning to dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant for an affordable yet elegant experience.

I first visited in October 2013. Atmosphere is incredibly fresh and clean, warm and romantic. Gorgeous rooftop dining and bar. Our dinner server was friendly, polished and professional. My date and I were totally spoiled here! We can't get enough of the food either, the chef has created a fantastic menu (and I'm a foodie so I've eaten at tons of restaurants). It's trendy yet classic, the crowd is upscale. I give it my best recommendation!

So we ordered appetizers. My husband ordered serrano ham croquettes, but got bechamel sauce croquettes with mini sprinkles of ham inside. Sent those back. I ordered the soup of the day which was Pasta Fagioli. It tasted like canned red beans mixed with plain pasta. Also disappointing! I asked for the Kobe beef sliders, expecting about 3 or 4 like they serve everywhere and got only 2 for $25, a bit overpriced. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin with sweet potato mash. Mash tasted like perfume and pork was not tender. Not a place to eat! Maybe to sit down outside and have a drink. Stay away from the food menu. Que dolor!

My friend recently had his birthday on the second floor area of Lolita's. We were a group of 20 people. His girlfriend had an agreement with management prior to the event that our party/group would receive unlimited Hors d'ouvres with everyone paying $20 each. Drinks would be seperate, and each individual would have to pay what they consume. Although I found the price to be a little high, it was one of my best friends birthday, so I said I would go. When my girlfriend and I receive our check within two hours of arriving, we were shocked. We had two amaretto sours (one each) that were served in tiny honey containers (around 4oz each, at most) and we got charge $36 dollars. Thats not the bad part, one of the parts that made this night disappointing was that the waitress charge my credit card without asking and did not give me a receipt for me to verify what they were charging me. I cannot belive the two SMALL drinks cost $36 even with tax and tip. Then the bill came in for the "unlimited" Hors d'œuvres, $425 for just four plates. Four plates, thats what they called unlimited. I was starving and was only able to eat 3 tiny pieces of chicken (which were really good by the way) and 2 pieces of tiny tomatoes with cheese (this was ok, really no taste). At the end of the night, I paid $76 for my girlfriend and I ($20 each for the Hors d'œuvres + $36 in drinks). Although I did not get harrassed by the management I felt weird when the manager hovered over the group to make sure everyone was paying their bills. She would stand and stare at everyone but would not answer any questions or supply us with receipts. This was one of my hangout places. I would go to the downstairs area all the time. They have good music and was a good feel, but after that night I will never return to this place. If you really want to go for some reason, just chill downstairs and drink at the bar.

the restaurant is nice, but the food is just ok, when you get is cold and not much of a test, is very expensive for what you get, the menu is very limited, only chicken and salmon, rice and vegetables, would not go back to eat, maybe just for a drink,

I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews here. Food is delicious! Service is always great. Just make a reservation, it takes two seconds. This is my favorite place in Miami.
