Best Chinese I've had in years
After 12 years living in the west Broward area, I finally found a good Chinese take-out restaurant. Finding this place by mistake while surfing Yelp last week, I ordered a quart of special fried rice, a large order of spare ribs, a quart of mixed soup, four egg rolls and a quart of honey garlic chicken. Basic take-out in the Lewis household with two adults and three small children, but good food overall. Not a single person had a problem or complaint. Eating Chinese is hard for my wife and I as we are bariatric weight loss patients. As such, some food we can eat, some we can't. In this instance, we both ate all of the food and had no problems. This is the first Chinese restaurant that we could say this. Arriving at the restaurant, I was met with several fish tanks and an overall dive-type style of restaurant. I knew this coming into Dragon City as I saw it on Yelp. This didn't bother me as none of the reviews complained of cleanliness - only the look of the place. Looks don't matter - the food does. No complaint - no problem - we will visit again on our next take-out order of Chinese.

Customer service is non existent.
There is no customer service, when asked why the check for delivery was three dollars more the man had an attitude. I think that a valid question to ask being that not all places have a delivery charge, but he seemed to disagree with that too. im waiting for the food now havent tried it yet but strictly on this i will not be ordering from here again.

This restaurant is amazing! The entire reason I’m writing this review is because of Disappointer’s review. There is a little known secret about uber-authentic Asian eating establishments (like this one) in the U.S. of A.; most of the time there is a separate, secret menu (not available on this site) for people whom are native to this fare and for the hardcore foodie (me!). At Dragon City it is simply known as the Red Menu. This sucker has over 300 menu items! You won’t find classic Chinese-American food like General Tao’s, Sesame, or Honey-Garlic Chicken on the Red Menu. Be prepared for Cold Beef Plate (tripe cooked, sauced, and you guessed it served cold), Shark Fin or Bird’s Nest soups, Salt-Fish Fried Rice, and other dishes you can’t get anywhere else in this area. It’s the kinda place with hanging BBQ ducks, and tons of aquariums with fresh fish, crabs, fresh and saltwater eels, etc. (all available for consumption). Sure this mom and pop place doesn’t have a swank, trendy ambiance or the most attentive waiting staff (it’s more European than anything) but what it lacks in décor and service it makes up for in authentic deliciousness and value!

Don't bother
We went to this place for the first time on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Food was good, unfortunately service was poor. The server was so busy playing with his I-phone, he didn't bother or care to answer our questions on items on the menu. We were bothering him with our questions... There are places where food is good and sevice is much better!

If you want authentic Chinese food in a Chinese setting, with Chinese television and incredible food, this is the place for you.
