    Peruvian food by Guatemalan?

I been following eat Peruvian on Facebook since they have new owners, i wanted to try something different and i heard good comments about the new management. When i arrived to the restaurant i felt that smell of good food, i order ceviche de conchas negras, (Black Oysters Ceviche) my friend order the ceviche de lenguado (Flounder ceviche) and my girlfriend order it the tacu tacu con mariscos. they both love the food and my ceviche was just like if i where in tumbes. I went back to eat peruvian for second try and what a big surprise they have now a lunch menu with pan con chicharron, butifarra but the one i love the must and i order it was the causa sandwich its sound crazy but this guy put the combination of the chicken salad, avocado, hard boil eeg and the rocoto cream sauce in pan frances (kaiser roll) and all those flavors were a explosion in my mouth. The biggest surprise was that the chef is not even peruvian or been to peru yet, im peruvian my self and i go to peru once a year but i feel proud of my culture and our gastronomy because now even other cultures want to take the peruvian food as part of there living and this guy chef Cruz is doing a amazing job ill give him a 5 star. I will go back for sure i want to try the tallarin a la huancaina.

    Bring back the old recipes

The former owners were much better. Kudos to your energy and enthusiasm but the food has deteriorated. The old alfajores were the best. Yours taste like grocery story cookies. Bring back the old recipes to keep the old timers coming back in.

    A wonderful birthday meal

We had a fantastic experience! the owners welcomed us and introduced us to the varied Peruvian menu. We liked everything and particularly recommend the chicha morada (a drink made from blue corn, pineapple and cinnamon), carapulcra (a pork/potato stew with peanuts and chocolate) and the alfajores (two of the lightest shortbread cookies held together with an incredible dulce de leche filling). The portions were extremely generous and we'll definitely be back after telling all of our neighbours to come too!

Your charging how much? It's not a 5 star restaurant

For being in a commercial location the food is good, but unfortunately the prices are not...It is not a 5 star restaurant in the heart of Cityplace and should not be over charging and giving portion sizes enough for a squirrel, I for one was appalled at the service charge they put on my bill when it was only a 2 course meal.... Again if it was a 5 star restaurant in a better location it would be worth the money, and if there was a party of 6 people or more I could see the service fee

The Peruvian food served here is truly authentic. It is as delicious as the food you'd find at a Peruvian's grandma's house! I tried this place for the first time yesterday and was so impressed. I recommend people go and try this place and keep it in business!

    Quality and more

I was very glad to drive by Lantana Road without planning it. By surprise I saw EatPeruvian and as Peruvian I had to jump from the car and take a look: The atmosphere is impecable and the food - just authentic Peruvian! I can not recommend this place enough to all. The quality of their food and service are very promising.

    Best Peruvian food

I read a review of this restaurant in the Palm Beach Post Valentines TGIF section and the story of how the owners met was so charming I had to check it out . It is outstanding , the best Peruvian food I've ever eaten . The place is tiny but impeccable , they have a few tables so you could eat in . Their empanadas ( meat filled patties ) are to die for . All their dishes are superb and the local Peruvian dish Lomo Saldado you have to try . The Ceviche is freshly made to order . I visited Peru in March and I can tell you that the food I've eaten at this restaurant was much better than anything I ate there . Try it you'll love it and the charming couple .
