Not recommended
Went based on previous reviews but the whole experience was very disappointing. After choosing a couple of bottles of wine as we were a group of 6, only when we got the bill we noticed that prices were much higher but we were never told. The food is just okay nothing different than any other cuban cafeteria.

P'al carajo!
It was my 60th and it was to be a surprise and boy was it ever! Let's just say I had mixed emotions about the venue and leave it at that, but then there was THE WINE! We started dinner with a spectacularly priced (young) Merryvale cab, then on to a shockingly good $44 Margaux (the clear winner) and finished the evening with a smashing '07 Pahlmeyer pinot. I cannot wait to go back. I give El Carajo a five-star for quality, value and just plain silly fun.

Best Spanish Tapas and great wines.
Best disguise for a great little restaurant. Wines sold at low retail price plus corkage. Parking can be a problem.
