Just happened upon this funky and charming little restaurant off of Federal. I give it high marks all around with a creative menu, friendly service, interesting and colorful decor and most importantly delicious food. I am looking forward to returning.

I'm not a huge fan of local "Mexican" food, but this place is awesome. Not greasy or slopped in sauce, Just good ol' seasoned, top-of-the-line meats and veggies, full of flavor and served basic and delicious. The brisket salad is is fabulous, tacos amazing, and chips and Queso... YUMMY! Go on, give it a whirl!

If your looking for the "hardcore Mexican" street food they advertise you will be disappointed ... but if you are looking for well done, fresh, amazing tacos ... then you've come to the right place. I highly recommend having the food prepared the way they recommend ... your suggestions are NOT going to make this food better!! They have an amazing balance going on in their cuisine. Only complaint .... If you go for the fish taco ... suggest grilled rather than fried ... it brings out the flavors so much better and allows an actual appreciation of the fish.

This is so good, everything is really inspired. the menu's a lil confusing but its cuz the ingredients are so dope; like oaxaca cheese on quesadillas to a carnitas taco with hoisen sauce. some chef was really passionate and it shows. my belly approves, adamantly enough to write a review

I grew up in Arizona and traveled thru Mexico every summer from the age of 5 to 20 and was hopeful there was fianlly a decent Taco place..WRONG! I tried 3 different taco...Barbacoa.., greasy and got a huge piece of fat El Ret which ok but not great and the Dragon..way too sweet almost sickenly sweet. The chips are too thick and hard to eat I think they double up the tortillas when prepping for cooking but are too lazy to sperate them when cooking. The salsas..Verde OK The red one was disappointing! Too much chipolte a lil of it goes a long way! The service wasn't great either i ordered to go and the gal put all three taco in one open container then shoved in a hot bag then put the bag in sideways in to go bag...so all my tacos opened up as tacos do and the filling was all over the box...I was actually mad I spent not only 20 minutes driving there but that I spent even a single dime there! Hardly real Mexican street food..not even close!

Just delicious. Had 3 different tacos, al pastor, carne asada and carnitas, all of them were delicious and held their own suprises. the chips and queso dip was pretty banging as well.
