Was recommended by a friend who used to go there. We had the Margarita chicken salad...$14 and the Mariachi Chopped Salad...$10 Well the Margarita salad was a total rip off. The chicken was dry and had no hint of Margarita marinade or Cilantro or Tequila, Dry like popcorn. Came on a plate with 2 circles of red pepper, a few tortilla strips, a couple of slices of tomatoes and a bunch of Romaine. What a disillusionment... C'Mon $14 for a lunch salad....give me less and charge me less...but they could not even do that. My salad for the $10 came with something called grilled chicken but they decided to take a short cut and deep fry. If it is on a flat grill call it "Plancha" Grilled is grilled. The dressing was 95% oil and the rest water and some kind of acid. No choices on dressing. The hot sauce "Choluha" was refilled with some kind of tomato sauce not even a hint of hot. Asked the waiter for Chipolte and he replied Huh? No refill was offered for my iced tea, no coffee or dessert was suggested until after I paid the bill and was getting up to leave. No welcome my name is so and so. Have you been here before? Nice to see you? None of that was mentioned. Service was just a weak as the menu offerings. At least my salad came in a tortilla bowl with avocado, chick peas, Carrots, onions, tomatoes, Romaine, spring mix salad and so called grilled chicken for only $10...Something is wrong. Business must be boooooooming for them to charge those prices and have a server of that caliber working there. Two people for lunch with tip....42.00 After I called for the manager to express my opinion he replied did you not see the salad was $14? I said yes...but the illusion that you played on my was a $2 salad...I have had better salads at my local pizzeria for that price. It is more expensive than any Italian Antipasto platter that comes loaded with meat and cheeses which are way more expensive than that salad....The manager offered a gift certificate....but after 15 minutes of waiting I just walked out.....Soooo disappointed in this place. Will not return anytime soon....

El Mariachi has excellent Mexican food. The Margaritas are out of this world, definitely a great place to dine.
