Not a good falafal
Falafal is eaten with a good hot sauce. Their sauce was less than desirable.

Excellent restaurant!
Ate at this restaurant yesterday because of all the great reviews it has and I must say, it's definitely earned them! I noticed the nice atmosphere right when we walked in. Classy but casual enough that I didn't feel out of place in my jeans. Lots of wait staff, ready to serve. They were all friendly and smiling. Our waitress seemed very knowledgeable and was able to recommend a soup for me (carrot & ginger) that turned out to be delicious! I had the mint iced tea to drink and the Roasted Veggie Hummus Plate for dinner. The tea was light and fresh tasting and the dinner was just fantastic. The pita was warm and soft, the hummus was perfect and the veggies cooked just right. Loved the tofu as well. Even the pickles were great! The falafel balls were so, so good! I'd never had falafel before and now only a day later I am craving it! For dessert I took home the Nutella Flaky Crepe. It was like a crepe-y bit of hazelnut heaven in my mouth. Tastes incredible with the vanilla iced cream that comes with it. My boyfriend had the hamburger, which he said was "ok". He's a very finicky eater though and always thinks he can cook a hamburger better himself than any restaurant he eats at. Besides, who goes to a falafel place for a hamburger?! In my opinion, this place was so good that I am sad I don't live right across the street so I could go every day. I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can and I will be bringing friends!

Love this place!
I eat at Falafel Bistro regularly, I will usually stop by on a Saturday afternoon and sit at the bar by myself or come in with my wife during the week for happy hour (can't go wrong with a $2 Shock Top). The food is always excellent. Be sure to ask about the specials, soups and try the stuffed red pepper. The service is great too. The wine list is extensive but the bartender I see Saturday afternoons knows the wine and suggests great stuff. Come in with an appetite though, the portions are huge!
