If you are from New England and crave the whole belly clams. This is the place in south fl. They have an excellent happy hour with live music. The staff is very friendly and sociable. Cheryl, the bartender always has a genuine smile to give you. The ahi sashimi is another favorite of mine, and the steaks look very tempting for someone that doesn't eat meat.

we had lunch the other day at Federal Grille, lighthouse point FL. i've been there for dinner and have always wanted to try their lunch menu. they even offer a buy one get one free menu. i didn't go for the freebie menu, instead i enjoyed a big bowl of lobster bisque with huge chunks of lobster meat. our server/bartender made sure we had warm dinner rolls to clean up the soup bowl. followed by a chopped chicken salad as my lunch entree. the salad was served with a balsamic ranch dressing that was fabulous. my friend was impressed with the huge slab of tuna perfectly prepared in a club sandwich. the fries could have been better. the indoor atmosphere is a bit dark so we sat outside and ate lunch in the sunlight.

I had heard from others that this was a fantastic place to dine, and after my experience I could not agree more. My wife and I went to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and from the moment we walked through the door I was impressed. The wait staff was attentive, the atmosphere charming and the food to die for. We started with the skirt steak appetizer that was amazing, and the salads were delicious. My wife had the fillet mignon which was cooked to perfection, and I had the fresh Cobia that was caught that very morning. I have had Cobia before but never like this, very sweet tasting. We ended the night with their creme puffs, and I must say these puffs were like no other. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience where the premium you pay is worth every cent.

The food is wonderful, we had a variety of food, salads, steak, scallops, and everything was great we have been there twice in two weeks. The buy one lunch get one free is the deal of the century. Love it Love it Love it. I hope it sticks around.

We needed a really good restaurant around town... to many dinner places and no place to dine! I'd recommend to all... but be aware and foretold... this is not a cheap dinner establishment... those are around the corner and across the way... this is a nice place for a fabulous meal with a great staff who is attentive and courteous. Watch for their coupons... one lunch off... and a great discount dinner coupon... if I could only find it now. And just so you know... I'm a customer... don't even know the owners.
