Feijao Com Arroz

This place has the most unappetizing food and poor service and I cannot believe I didn't just get up and walk out after I waited for 15 minutes at my table for a glass of water and a server. Once the server got to my table, she was not very polite, disinterested and actually seemed like having me in the restaurant was a bother to her. I went to the food bar to get my food and the guy cutting the meat was in back having a conversation with someone and didn't care that I was waiting for meat. When he finally came out, he tried to give me some extremely well done left overs from the lunch crowd. Then he told me if I wanted medium or rare beef, I would have to wait until he cooked it over the next 30 minutes. He also acted as if having me there was a bother to him. After I ate a plate of this mediocre food, and fatty poor grade beef, I needed my water refilled. Two servers saw me and pretended they didn't and it took forever to get some water.

Mariana is dead on about the food. I love it. The service, while not perfect is very good especially if you speak a bit of Portuguese. The atmosphere is decent durring the week. Weekends there's great live music, but it does get a bit noisy if there's a soccer game on.

The food is awesome, I could eat there literally every day of my life! I wouldn't change anything at all about the food. The only thing I would change is the service. I know the tip is included in the check, but that does not mean good service is not expected from customers. So overall, the food is perfect, and the place is nice, but the service could be a lot better. But because the food is sooo good, I will keep going back to eat there. :D
