Despite it's convenient Davie location, the Flashback Diner is nothing like the longtime Lums that it replaced. I have eaten here about six times since the switch and felt compelled to review on this particular occasion. This particular Flashback Diner location is open 24/7/365. It has plenty of parking and is very clean. I visited on September 26th at approximately 11:15 p.m. I forgot the name of my server and it was not on the debit card receipt I received at the end of my visit. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich straight up. For a drink I had my usual water, with lemon. Upon receiving my order, the sandwich was very lacking on substance. Very little meat and no pickle. My water did not come with a wedge of lemon. Despite the fact that it was almost midnight and I was only one of three customers, my server never returned with the requested lemon or an answer on how much meat is normally placed on the sandwich. Total check for the sandwich and water, with tax, was $16.41. I only left two bucks as a tip. What a disappointment. I will never return to the Flashback Diner. One distant memory too many...

Flashback Diner has great American style food at low prices. They have a great selection on their menu and they are open 24 hours per day. The food and service were both wonderful and the atmosphere is friendly. Some of the tables have their own TV sets.

I had dinner 2 days ago there with a friend. The place was packed so it must be good. Soup was excellent - both of them. Salmon with broccoli was the dinner, but no bread with it and it wasn't enough. Maybe for a child but not for an adult. Thank God we had a soup first. But it was very good.

Excellent food and service - I ordered the turkey dinner and my wife ordered lamb shank. The turkey was moist and the dressing was delicious, the lamb shank was huge and fell off the bone. Great service, always came around with refills. The desserts are so huge we took half home

Very disappointed in this place. First time and last time. I must have ordered the wrong thing on the menu - the turkey breast dinner. The most disappointing stuffing I ever had in my life. It had big chunks of bell pepper in it. The yellow gravy had nothing to do with turkey and the turkey itself was tasteless. I loved the salad, bread and butter and the carrot cake. Coffee wasn't good. Their brand must be really lousy and the coffee machine needed cleaning.

I had breakfast and it was great, our party ordered the chocolate chip pancakes which were great, Waffles were delicious and all of our egg dishes were cooked to perfection. I recommend this restaurant. Sunday mornings are very busy

My boyfriend and I are local to the area and finally decided to give this place a try, sadly we were very dissatisfied with the food. He ordered the "Flashback Combo" which consisted of eggs, bacon (with or without sausage or ham; he got all bacon) and pancakes. The bacon tasted like cardboard, not sure how someone messes up bacon but it was NOT good, the eggs were unappetizing as well. The only good thing out of his combo were the pancakes. I ordered the eggs Benedict which I've had elsewhere before and loved, unfortunately this was not the case here. The hollandaise sauce was cold and flavorless unless you consider disgusting as a flavor. The eggs were undercooked and the ham tasted charred. My meal came with a choice or several options I selected the fruit so there was no disappointment there and I ordered a blueberry muffin on the side which I was thankful for because it was the only good thing I ordered. Overall we would NOT recommend this place to anyone going for breakfast, we didn't have any lunch/dinner type foods so we can't speak on behalf of how good or bad they are so if your interested give it a shot just avoid breakfast!
