My friends were the ones that originally told me about it, and being the huge pizza lover that I am i couldn't help but be tempted to try it. Now the service is good, you feel treated like a local right at home. Which is a great thing and aren't being treated like just another customers. However, do not get me wrong you can't just come in and sit down because it is strictly carryout kind of place. With that being said there is literally no atmosphere what so ever to this place. Now this pizza place i couldn't believe what a unappetizing product that my friends have been raving about. They are all sliced in the small pizza square slices as opposed to the traditional triangular shape. So that i didn't really like to begin with. As far as quality goes, it is overpriced for what it is, the quality is of a $5 pizza from chain pizzerias when you get a bad box. Or a really crappy frozen pizza from a grocery store. Truthfully when i was most upset with it was when my second time with it. I gave it a second opportunity simply because I figured maybe it was a bad day. Now this time i had a pepperoni pizza. It was unappetizing, the pepperoni tasted like some rubbery meat that is more unappetizing than a lunchable.

This is a temple of pizza. Not only is it the best in town but unlike any other i've ever had anywhere. The crust is light, crunchy, and flaky. The sauce is rich and has the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. The ingredients are natural and top notch. This is a take out joint so you can't fairly rate atmosphere. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for; the best. Cash only so dont bring plastic unless its debit and you're ok with paying an atm fee. Being around since 1955 proves it has a winning formula. People come from far and wide to take the joy in a box home. Frankie's offers half baked pizzas so you can heat them up and eat it fresh at home (no microwave!). This place is a right of passage for Miamians, whether you love it or like it (cuz you can't possibly hate it).

This place has the best pizza in Miami! I have eaten there since I was a kid and I still enjoy the food. It hasn't changed! Frankie's daughters have kept the tradition alive! It is a little expensive for pizza, but it is definitely worth it!

The sauce was extremely sweet. If you like that, then you'll love this place. Crust was thin & crispy, which is great, but i don't like my sauce to be sweeter than my dessert!
