First time customer, Quiet Monday nite before Election Tuesday, so you would expect good service, well I was wrong. I had the Monday nite ravioli special. My caesar salad came out first, then several minutes later my wife's main course pizza came out. Then about 15 minutes later my raviolis came out, which would have been good but it went to the wrong table and they ate it ( I know this because I over heard the waiter telling the foodrunner it went to the wrong table), so I sat and waited another 15-20 minutes for my order to come out again. Also the bread that was suppose to come with the meal never made it to the table although I did see it sitting at the pick up area and when the waiter finally got around to picking it up he looked at our table and noticed I was finished eating and chose not to bother to bring the bread to the table. Now proper protocol would have been for the waiter to come to the table and explain the mix up(s) but he lacked the courage to do so, his tipped reflected my disappointment. I have been in the restaurant business for 33 years and would never go back to this restaurant again.

Awesome
What a cool place with great food, very kid friendly, get the pizza, sit outside, in the back and feed the fish

Great value, beautiful atmosphere.
My husband and I loved the wings, they are a MUST try! Also, we liked the big bowls of salad they're so fresh and colorful. The Italian music and the presentation of the restaurant made my experience that much better. Therefore, if you like Italian food and a great atmosphere Giovanni's Coal Fire Pizza in Parkland should without a doubt, be the next place on your list you decide to try.

What happened?
Perhaps I should have just ordered Pizza. I am long time customer who always enjoyed the pastas, meatballs etc. to supplement the excellent pizza. However, when visiting this week, we found the pasta sauces to be without flavor and the meatballs, a former delicacy, to be down right unappetizing. It is pretty tough to ruin a meatball, however the addition of some overpowering unknown ingredient did just that. We left them largely uneaten and advised the waiter of same. He indicated the recipe had changed-boy did it ever! The good: the salads, the services and the atmosphere. The bad, the food less the salads. Note we did not have the pizza this trip so hopefully it has maintained some integrity.

Great food and atmosphere!
Wow! This place is great all around...service, food, environment and prices. Wonderful coal fire pizza with a great balance of ingredients. The two for one twilight pizza/salad special is more than enough for two! Very comfy environment, warm and relaxed. Great for family and adult friends gatherings and child friendly

Awesome food
I went to Giovanni's in Parkland and had an amazing dish called Eggplant Downtowner. The food was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. My husband enjoyed wings and pizza. We will come back again very soon.

Not good
Born of Italian parents I've had some really great food....Giovanni's has a long way to go to be great. Watery soup, over cooked fish and bland pizza.
