We made the mistake of ordering from the mizner park location since the powerline location was not open until 4pm. What a horrible difference! The man who answered the phone and took our order seemed nice enough. To our surprise our normally $65 bill was all of a sudden $95! My husband signed the receipt and gave the driver an additional $10 tip thinking it was high but not knowing we ordered our usual 3 subs and 1 pizza. Yes that's right... they charged us $95! I called back 7 times before anyone answered the phone. An extremely rude woman answered the phone and said they charge more than powerline. I told her her menu is online and she said she has a new menu not on any website. She then told me if I didn't like their prices I shouldn't order from her location. We will never order from this location again and hope everyone else knows what they are in for if they do! Make sure you get the total on your bill...

Giovanni's is by far the worst experience. I ordered delivery at my hotel and they were an hour and 10 min. After they said it would only be 30 min. It's now 9:50 and finally got silverware from my hotel to eat my food. Not to mention I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo the sauce was bland and it came with a side salad but I received two salads bc I wanted a small ceaser. I'm sure I was charged for it bc I paid $45 with tip. And I got no itemized receipt. No parmesan cheese or salt and pepper or even napkins. Also when I called to check on my food for an eta 45 min after my original call they put me on hold and I could overhear another customers complaints in the background. Never again. Oh and I almost forgot they called me within a couple min. After the original call and told me they were out of fettuccine and asked if linguini would be ok that I was fine with. Then I realized they never asked me how I would like to pay so I had to call back to give them my card #. Epic fail and still hungry bc the food wasn't even good. Literally took two bites of my cold dinner.

Being a Chicago transplant, I can honestly say this is the closest thing to pizza I have seen in years. The family who owns this restaurant is wonderful and so friendly it's like they consider me one of them. The food is delicious and comprable to what you would pay up north, so it's not a bad deal. My family loves Giovanni's!

Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. The staff were lovely people and bent over backwards for me while I was there alone on my lunch break.
