Food great, service poor
This really is excellent Italian food - what a pity the decor is sooo 1960's, atmosphere almost non existent, Owner more interested in HIS meal than yours and the vast majority of wait-staff clueless. Trying take-out? Check your meal before you leave. Asked for Bolognaise sauce to be separate from Veal Milanese & Pasta - didn't get Bolognaise got "gravy" (gravy? only in America!) AND it was slathered over - you guessed it - the pasta! No one listens

Deer in headlights
waited over 1 1/2 hours for dinner to be served. When I spoke to the owner she looked like a deer in the headlights. Did not apologize, did not offer a complimentary glass of wine but offered the excuse we got slammed with take outs. I recommend taking out not eating in. You will receive better service.

Our favorite restaurant!
I absolutely adore this restaurant. From the friendly staff to the delicious food. My family and I have been coming to Giovanni's for years now and usually after so many years I've noticed most restaurants start to drop off in quality and/or quanity, not Giovanni's. The food is still delicious and the portion sizes are huge. I get the same dish every time we come in and it's still like the first time I ate there. Keep up the great work!!

Lately much smaller portions
Recently ate there, I have been dining. I have been eating there for many years and am very familiar with their portion size. The portion size was one of their great attributes, now portion size on dishes other than pasta are reduced.

Simply the best meal in Florida
Giovanni's shrimp dishes are out of this world. What else can I say? Friendly staff, fast service, everything just wonderful. (And very reasonable).

The best Italian restaurant in town!
Giovanni's is our favorite restaurant. This food is authentic Italian prepared by a wonderful Italian family many, many years in the business. There is no better value around for the quality of food you receive. The lasagna is the best I've ever had (with extra cheese melted on top), and I used to live in NY! Their Veal Picata is the stuff of dreams. The service is prompt and friendly, the food always fresh, and the restaurant always very clean. As in other good restaurants during "high season", Giovanni's can become crowded in the evenings, and sometimes there is a short wait, but the food is well worth the wait, if there is one. I most highly recommend Giovanni's to everyone.

Don't recommend the White Clam Sauce
AGREE - The white clam sauce appeared to be can chopped clams served with one fresh clam. Not palatable, returned both dishes.
