The people up front are so rude beside the girls that work there. Ordered chicken and it was not cooked. I would take chain any day of the week over that place.

Ive lived in the neighborhood for years and only recently discovered this restaurant a few years ago. The best italian in Florida. The chicken picatta, francese is to die!! Everything from beginning to end is perfect. Beware of the tiramisu - incredible!! Servers to hostess make the experience nice. A home style feel with terrific food - what more could you want!!

Could be a little friendlier - we go there at least once a month or so and you would think she has never seen us there....an issue we had ---- tables are for four - there are no tables for 2 - we arrived about 5 minutes ahead of our guests and they made us wait because our other 2 guests were not there. So next time, we'll just say table for 2 and they can join us at our table for 4 when they get there - she doesn't know it but she missed out on us having a glass of wine while we waited. If the food wasn't excellent we would never go back.

We often stop by here and always get delicious Italian dishes. One of my favorites is the linguine with white clam sauce. Portions are very generous, nice warm bread and salad. My husband loves their pizza and their stromboli's! It's always crowded~even in the heat of summer, so you know it's a favorite of the locals!

This really is excellent Italian food - what a pity the decor is sooo 1960's, atmosphere almost non existent, Owner more interested in HIS meal than yours and the vast majority of wait-staff clueless. Trying take-out? Check your meal before you leave. Asked for Bolognaise sauce to be separate from Veal Milanese & Pasta - didn't get Bolognaise got "gravy" (gravy? only in America!) AND it was slathered over - you guessed it - the pasta! No one listens

waited over 1 1/2 hours for dinner to be served. When I spoke to the owner she looked like a deer in the headlights. Did not apologize, did not offer a complimentary glass of wine but offered the excuse we got slammed with take outs. I recommend taking out not eating in. You will receive better service.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. From the friendly staff to the delicious food. My family and I have been coming to Giovanni's for years now and usually after so many years I've noticed most restaurants start to drop off in quality and/or quanity, not Giovanni's. The food is still delicious and the portion sizes are huge. I get the same dish every time we come in and it's still like the first time I ate there. Keep up the great work!!
