My wife and I ordered the Lemon Chicken and Chicken with Vegetables the other night. The chicken and vegetables was ok. And the chicken was very tender. However, the lemon chicken was disappointing.It was coated with a thick breading and served with a lemon sauce for dipping. The breading was so thick, when removed, the chicken was barely observable! Also, the sauce was loaded with MSG as was the sauce with the other dish. I will never return to this restaurant--there are too many other good Chinese restaurants in the area

They cooked to order and didn't skimp on the broccoli and bok choi :) the tofu was cooked nicely and the seasoning was perfect. I don't know what happened last night but my veggie stir fry had soggy uncooked tofu and soggy onions that looked like noodles. Very little vegetables and no seasoning. I wound up throwing it away. Maybe an off night? Maybe the new cook was thrown off by the vegan request? Will try again in a few months.

Tried Golden Star II because Wing Wah's food quality has gotten so bad. The food quality is superb here. I've tried everything else in Boynton Beach, and this is now the best. Even better, the prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food. It tastes like authentic Chinese food. The chicken-to-breading ratio on the lemon and sweet & sour chicken is very high. This will be my chinese restaurant of choice from now on.

By far the best Chinese takeout/delivery I've had in a long time.. Between the friendly, welcoming attitude from the staff and the selection on the menu, the experience is always exceptional

I regularly frequented Golden Star for a few years. The Taste and Quality of their food was hard to match. When the new owner took over they changed the recipe on all of my favorite dishes. The fried rice is poor. The Wonton Soup is watered down, and the boneless ribs are tough. The shrimp tasted fishy and old, and the chicken they use to make the sesame and general tso's chicken is no where near as good as it used to be. I wish I new where the old owners went to and if they re-opened a different restaurant.

Tried most of the places that deliver... along with the pickup only places. I live in East Boynton, so it's difficult to have a lot of the places on Congress deliver to me. This place always has! They have made some changes in the past few months, but mostly for the better. Just had it tonight and they sent us a new menu... they have SUSHI now! Can't rate that, but I can tell you that the Boneless Ribs are good, the Sesame Chicken has a good classic flavor, and the Mongolian Beef is very tasty (get it mild... light on beef but more than a lot of the others). Can't wait to try the rest of the newer items. :P
