My dad's favorite place.
This is my 93 year-old father's restarant in southern Florida. The matzo ball soup is always great...try it loaded. The rye is very good and my dad enjoys the chopped liver sandwich. I am trying to eat healthier so normally settle for the tuna salad platter. Even enjoyed the chopped steak dinner..a very filling meal.

Best corned beef
My dad owned kosher delis in NY and I worked in them growing up. It is nearly impossible to find really good food of this type in Florida. The corned beef at this place is their specialty and it is very close to the best you can get in NY. I was surprised but I'm not complaining. A few times a year I get a craving for corned beef and this is the place I go to. Excellent rye bread too.

Not recommended
15 minutes to get a single glass of iced coffee (which was not good) another 15 minutes to place order, a 30-minute wait for a cremated $11.00 hamburger which I ordered medium rare. Another half-hour til I got the check. Never an offer of another glass of coffee, never a "how is your order?" Thanks very much, I'll go to somewhere else where I'll get my food less expensively and have way better serve and my food cooked properly.

Great
Since I moved, the Deli house was not a great place to eat. I had a couple of disappointing experiences and told myself I wouldn't go there anymore. I decided to give it another try. when I went back, there were a lot of changes. I see a lot of new faces. (which is a good thing) the servers that they had before were old and rude and always smelled like cigarettes. I see a lot of improvement. Great food! You won't regret going there.

Very nice experience!
Supreme quality from the Corned Beef Sandwich. I had heard poor things about this place, but I think they may have cleaned up their act because I went in with low expectations and came away extremely satisfied.

Traditional Deli - Great Food
Great food and service. Reminds me of my childhood when my parents would load the kids in the car and drive from West Palm Beach to Miami for good deli food. I hate to drive, thank goodness for the Deli House in Lake Worth.

Last time I will eat here
This was the third time we got cold breakfast. I always order a side order of bacon which I was told was four pieces. Today they gave me three pieces for $2.50 which was cold by the way and then proceeded to tell us we could only have one piece of rye toast for each of us. I asked the gentleman who seats us and he brought us an extra two pieces of toast. I left my home fries because they were all burnt. The waitress was very rude and could not have cared at all that we were upset over our breakfast. The place was empty and we now see why. We have been eating here for the last 20 years and we have stood in line for over an hour to get in years ago. Those times will never come again and service and food like this is the reason why. We will now find another place to eat breakfast and I feel very sad that it has come to this.
